On May 17, 2023, the Department of Water Resources (DWR) announced the official launch of the new Be Well Prepared program that provides information and resources to help well owners, well users, and local agencies be ready for impacts of climate-driven weather extremes on groundwater supplies and drinking water wells.

If your well has gone dry, is pumping sand or produces low water, needs to be tested, and you need assistance, there is help available. Self-Help Enterprises has extended their services to San Joaquin County.
